Ambulância segue para a Ucrânia

Finalmente acaba o trajeto da ambulância doada pelos nossos queridos Bombeiros de Águeda / Águeda Fire Department - Portugal! Durante semanas realizaram-se reparações necessárias neste veículo para poder seguir viagem, e fazer uso da sua eficiência e fiabilidade nos vários teatros de operações onde participam os socorristas e soldados Ucranianos.

Esta segunda a ambulância foi preenchida com mais donativos como água, bens alimentares e toalhitas (extremamente úteis quer para soldados quer para civis em áreas onde água corrente, e segura para consumo, não é garantida para tratar da higiene), sacos cama e roupa. De seguida esta foi carregada num camião doado por Bruno Oliveira da empresa Transportes Carvel - Aguada de Cima, ao qual também estendemos o sentido agradecimento!

Humanitarian help towards Ukraine takes various forms and dimensions!

Finally ends the journey of this ambulance donated by our dear Fire Department of Águeda! These past weeks were made the necessary repairs on the vehicle so it could be ready and able to travel, and let the ukrainian rescuers and soldiers make use of its eficiency and reliability in their theatre of operations.

This past monday the ambulance was filled with more donations like water, food and wet towels (extremely useful for soldiers and civilians in areas where safe running water is not guaranteed to take care of hygiene), sleeping bags and clothes. Afterwards the van itself was loaded in a truck donated by Bruno Oliveira from Carvel Transports – Aguada de Cima, who we also extend this heartfelt thanks!
